If you're experiencing issues, check there first — if all components are green and you're still seeing problems, email us with a description of what you're doing and what's not working.
Common questions
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
From the login screen, click "Forgot your password?" and follow the email instructions. If you don't receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If it's still missing, contact your company's administrator — they can resend or reset on your behalf.
How do I set up multi-factor authentication?
Multi-factor authentication uses Google Authenticator. Install the app from your device's app store, then when you first sign in to Free Time Platform you'll be prompted to enroll — scan the QR code or enter the setup key in Google Authenticator, then enter the 6-digit code to verify. After enrollment, the same code is required on every future login.
I'm a field worker — what's the difference between the web app and the iOS app?
The web app at app.freetimeplatform.com has every feature. The iOS app focuses on the things you do in the field: daily progress entry, materials receiving and checkout, equipment requests, safety incident reporting, and viewing drawings. Office workflows (cost reports, payroll, invoices) live on the web.
How do I get added to a project?
Project assignments are managed by your company's administrators in Data → Employees. Ask your administrator to assign you to the project. Once you're added, you'll see the project in your sidebar the next time you log in.
I'm an administrator — how do I add a new employee?
New employees come in through Hiring → Pipeline. Create an applicant, advance them through the pipeline, then use the Hire flow — that creates their login and adds them to your roster automatically. Do not create employees directly in Data → Employees; that path doesn't establish a login.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email us at [email protected] with the subject "Bug report" or "Feature request" and a description of what you saw or what you'd like to see. Screenshots help a lot. We read every message and reply within one business day.
